Daily Cafe: An Evening in Argentina

From the food news section of Portland Food and Drink... Daily Cafe in the Pearl is hosting a special Evening in Argentina dinner menu on Tuesday, May 22, at 7 p.m.

On the menu:
lobster empanadas with avocado cream
fried sweetbreads with grilled apples
watercress salad with pickled watermelon
braised shortribs
orange flan
They had me at lobster empanadas. The dinner cost is $45 per person, or $65 with wine pairing (not including gratuity). Call 503-242-1916 to RSVP. The Daily Cafe is located at 902 NW 13th Ave. in the Pearl District.
