Building the "Design District"

Today's Oregonian inPORTLAND section showcases new Pearl District store Landfair Furniture + Design Gallery. Owners Beverly and Michael Landfair were motivated to relocate to the Pearl because of the growing "design district," a section of the neighborhood with quite a few home/interiors shops, including Globe Lighting, Bedford Brown and Kravet.

Landfair is located at 1636 NW 15th in the Pearl District.

I drive by Landfair all the time. I'll be sure to check it out. The Pearl has really changed for the better in the past couple years.
