Today's A&E had a great little write-up on new neighborhood spot Blitz Bar.

Blitz Bar Finally. A bar in the Pearl District for the folks who actually are building the Pearl District. "We're not one of those chic, meek martini bars," says Blitz's chef, Chris Martin. "What we're trying to do is 180 degrees from everything else in the Pearl. Low prices. Great big portions. Blue collar." But dwellers of those lofts in the tony Brewery Blocks are welcome too, Martin says.
