A reader reminded us of a cool (free!) event taking place this First Thursday: the third annual Starbucks AVANT-GRANDE. The event showcases the artistic talents of Starbucks employees and supports the 2007 Cascade Aids Project.

Also, we hear one of our favorite bands, The Young Immortals, will be playing. Plus, enjoy complimentary appetizers from Oba Restaurant. Check it out at Wieden + Kennedy from 6 – 9:30 p.m on March 1. Wieden + Kennedy is located at 224 NW 13th Ave. in the Pearl District.
