This little blurb from costar.com sheds some light on a future building in the neighborhood: 937. Yep, they're naming it after the address, 937 N.W. Glisan St. Guess that makes it simple. The 16-story building will host a mix of luxury condominiums and commercial space.
We're assuming this is the old Metropolitan Presort location that's been leveled over the past few months... looks like it will be complete in fall 2008. For those of us within the surrounding few blocks, that means at least a solid year of being awakened by construction noises at 7 a.m. sharp. Ugh.

As a resident of the Pearl I would suggest that 937 cease to pollute the sky with 9-3-7 ad infinitum in red lights every night on top of the crane. It's like the nine-year-old kid in the back of the class repeatedly popping his bubble gum for attention. We all know the building is going up and we know the address. I would expect more from a building seeking LEED rating. How about a little class?
